Offers in observation status
Hello dear community,
I am a private seller. Is there a way to get info about the
profiles that keep my listings in watch status?
I couldn’t find anything about this on the help pages.
Maybe someone in the community knows something about it?

Thought it might be possible to see how many positive ratings the observer has.

And here is another hint. Could still get expensive:
You typically act as an entrepreneur or commercially if you:
buy items to resell them
sell items that you have made for resale
regularly sell large quantities of items
sell similar goods, especially new goods, over a longer period of time
frequently sell new items that you did not purchase for your own use
According to case law, the following count as indications of commercial activity:
operating an eBay shop
number of current sales: if many items are continuously sold over a longer period of time, this is usually a commercial seller
stretched-out sale of a private collection over many years
type of items sold (new or used goods, value): the sale of several similar navigation devices was classified as proof of commercial activity – likewise the offering of 250 batteries in various sizes with reference to the availability of larger quantities.
a website or the use of advertising descriptions that make a professional impression
Note: We regularly review our sellers' trading activities and, if necessary, ask them to mark their eBay account as a commercial account. In addition, you must expect to receive a paid warning notice from competitors or consumer protection associations and to be sued in court for injunctive relief.

Mentor3 weeks agoGood morning @birgit2726 pure buyer profiles can only have positive ratings now, since buyers have only been able to be rated positively since 2008.
And if the rating profile is set to private, you won’t see anything at all about the comments. Only seller profiles can actually still be rated red and neutral alongside positive.
Observers or followers are not shown by name, probably falls under data protection
