yes, you misunderstood that. Without a shop subscription there are no free quotas for commercial sellers:

a VAT ID number does not by any means make you a commercial seller.
As for @perfect-sally , do some digging into what all is involved in selling commercially on eBay.
Maybe you have a trusted tax advisor who can and would like to help you?

Mentor2 months agoYou're really walking a very fine line here if you keep selling like this! Formal warnings are expensive, and in your case there are several issues piling up.
Everything has already been written to you, and yet you are still offering items without returns and without complete business information.

I’ve never heard of a free listing allowance for commercial sellers.
And apparently you haven’t checked what obligations you have as a commercial seller and which details are absolutely required!
No returns? As a commercial seller, that’s not possible!
No cancellation policy provided
No sample cancellation form provided
No terms and conditions provided (not mandatory, but sensible)
No privacy policy
Imprint not complete
If I were you, I’d take my items down right away and state it correctly before it gets expensive and you receive a cease-and-desist letter.
