Ad fee despite restricted account?

Hi everyone
My account was restricted for the second time within two months, until all deliveries have arrived with the buyers. OK, I have to live with that, even though according to eBay I could no longer use my old account, which I had for over 15 years, because of technical difficulties and had to open a new one.
Now I'm a new seller and have to live with the restricted account. What I do find strange, though, is that my account was restricted on Monday and I still had to pay listing fees yesterday and the day before yesterday, even though all my listings were hidden. That can't be right, can it? Or am I making a mistake in my reasoning?

The first restriction on your account was lifted on July 20, 2026, and the second restriction occurred on July 29. In between, your selling rights were restored, the external ads were active, and so the fees were also charged to you during this period. You can view the details here.
At the moment, however, the campaign has ended. While the account restriction is in place, no further costs will be incurred. 😊

OP1 week agoExternal ads. My account was restricted on the 27th and external ad fees were still being charged. This also applies to listings that were sold before that. See July 27-31 in the transactions.

Mentor1 week agoFirst you should tell us what kind of ads you’re talking about.
With Basic, fees are only charged when something has been sold and paid for.
And with Premium, billing is per click, but if no ads are visible, that should also be omitted.
Maybe something was just billed a bit too late, as has happened before.
