App notifications are coming through in Polish for me. I have a new smartphone. | Members help members

Hello, I already had phone contact with eBay, but that didn't help at all. I was told to uninstall the app and download it again. I did that. The notifications still come through in Polish or whatever language that is. The privacy information in the app is also in Polish. What is causing this and can I turn it off somehow? I can't read the notifications. I also get the messages by email, and those are in German.Thanks for any further help. I would have liked to send eBay an email with this issue attached, but I keep getting stuck in this AI-based help chat, nothing moves forward, and I keep ending up at the same place again and again.
