Item defective after more than 90 days
Callus remover broken after just over a year
Who is actually responsible, if anyone??
Ebay issued the invoice. But they're dodging responsibility because it's over 90 days. Contact through the assistant is pretty much impossible.
Seller, Chinese guy, contacted, no reply yet.
Does anyone know how, and whether anything can be done?
Thanks.
Regards, mannefeld

Mentor1 month ago@mannefeld Warranty = seller
That you can hardly assert your consumer rights in China is probably clear as well.
ebay could write to the seller for you, but it can be assumed that the seller will simply wait it out because he expects no consequences.

Mentor1 month agoBuyer protection on eBay applies for 30 days from the delivery date, and then that's it.
Nothing more can be done through the payment service provider either. And as for the warranty: after 1 year, the reversal of the burden of proof applies, and the buyer has to prove that the defect already existed at the time of purchase.
