List item: Offer text rejected
Hello,
The item description for my newly listed item allegedly contains wording that indicates the item is refurbished.
That is not correct.
Unfortunately, the guidelines for item descriptions and the AI do not go any further.

Regarding your description, I’ve consulted with our technical team and have just received feedback that the colleagues in the settings tool have now made a change. Please check everything again and try setting it up once more.

I just followed your advice and posted my own text, but unfortunately it was rejected with the same reason.
If no solution can be found, I will delete everything and start all over again. It would certainly not be the first time that "the machine may have choked on something" and ultimately a reset helps.😉

after I had tried several times to make changes of any kind and each time got the - sorry! - equally wrong and stupid complaint displayed, I have to assume that I cannot or am not allowed to sell the item on ebay.
It should also be noted that I am not the only seller of this item. What was done differently there, however, is beyond me.
What a waste of time...😤

thanks for stepping in!
I had already written my own text (as I always do), but it was rejected.
I had also entered all the necessary data, including, by the way, that the article is used, albeit in very good condition.
The addition "Mfi certified" was, incidentally, requested by me because I had specified the term "Lightning" for the charging connector, and the dock from the Just Mobile brand actually had a certification from Apple.

I would just rephrase it until the text gets accepted.

Of course I could post the text here, but if ebay complains about something that doesn't even appear in the text, that would be pointless.
I have already reworded everything that could even remotely have been meant, but without success.
Incidentally, this is the first time a text of mine has been criticized. But since the "criticism" just doesn't fit at all, I suspect that no human is actually responsible for it. That could get "fun" in the future. Maybe I should just have texts created by the AI; they are indeed written far too "flowery" and didn't at all match my friendly, matter-of-fact style, but if there were then complaints again, the maximum level of absurdity would have been reached...

The text was rejected for the same reason!!
That really does make you wonder where THIS is supposed to lead...🤦🏼♂️
