Item does not match the item description - noticed after the return period
Hello,
I bought goods from a seller via this platform on 21/06/26. They were also delivered promptly. On 26/07/26 I noticed that the delivered goods do not match the item description and contacted the seller about it. After a brief exchange of messages with photos, item no., etc., there was no further response from the seller. Is there still a way to return the goods through buyer protection?

sorry, eBay buyer protection expired after 30 days. At this point, you can only open a dispute through your payment provider.
But you should provide more information about what’s specifically wrong with the item. Unfortunately, that isn’t clear from your opening post.

Mentor1 month agoBuyer protection lasts exactly 30 days from the delivery date, and after that eBay is out of the picture.
You can try whether there’s still anything possible through the payment provider. That still leaves the question of why you only notice it so late and don’t check the goods right after receiving them.
