Article deleted because it is allegedly a fake.
Summary: iredicator reports a problem with an item deleted on eBay that was mistakenly declared a counterfeit. The item, whose authenticity was confirmed by the authenticity checker, was returned because of an error in the size information and was bought twice by a buyer, but not paid for. bootyooty expresses doubts about the background and warns of possible consequences, since relisting deleted items is risky and the item can no longer be paid for.
Hello dear community,
maybe you have some advice for me on what I can / should do.
Ebay deleted one of my listings because it is supposedly a counterfeit. I appealed the decision and that was also rejected by ebay.
The situation is as follows: the item was sold last week, the English size was correct, but unfortunately the European one was not. For this reason, the item was sent back to me by Ebay's authenticity checker, because the size did not match the item in the listing. The item's authenticity was confirmed by the authenticity checker and is also clearly visible in my Ebay.
Now I have listed the item again with the correct European size, the buyer from last week bought the item again because he only looked at the English size and that fits.
Now the item has been deleted because of an alleged counterfeit.
Do you have any tips, any idea what I can do so that the item gets “reactivated” again, or what can I do, because the item has already been sold again, just not yet paid for?
Thank you very much for your help.

Mentor1 week agoHi,
The item got a certificate of authenticity even though it didn’t match the description? I can’t imagine that. 🤔 Relisting items deleted by eBay is always risky; now it’s been removed a second time for you as a fake, and that will have consequences.
Nothing gets activated there, and a buyer can’t pay for deleted items.

OP1 week agoI have proof that the item was confirmed as genuine by the authenticity checker. I can gladly upload the screenshot from my eBay if needed :-)

Mentor1 week agoThe screenshot unfortunately doesn't help here, we don't need to be convinced, but eBay does.
