Article came back again
I sold an item on Ebay, packed everything up, printed the label and shipped it. A week later the parcel came back with a note saying that the buyer couldn’t be found at the address.
After getting in touch, I was given a completely different address.
Can anyone give me a tip on how I can send the parcel again without paying shipping costs?

Mentor3 weeks agoHow do you get the idea of wanting to send a parcel without shipping costs? They definitely won’t accept that at the branch.
Either the buyer pays the shipping costs again, but that only works outside of eBay, or you refund it minus the shipping costs already incurred.
The rest has already been written to you, and you may only send it to the address listed on eBay, not to one that is given to you.

Mentor3 weeks agoIf you cancel the purchase, though, you can only refund it in full! You have to send a refund through the purchase details; only there can you deduct the shipping costs.

Mentor3 weeks agoHello @jaho5740 ,
you get a buyer's address details once the buyer has paid, via eBay.
If the buyer still wants the item, then she pays you the shipping costs again.

OP3 weeks agoThank you very much. I’ve never had that before, getting a wrong address from Ebay. I’m checking now what the buyer wants to do. She had asked, after all.

Mentor3 weeks agoThe buyer apparently had not updated the delivery address.
Wait and see what she replies.
