Item not received, but reporting deadline has expired
Summary: wencke001 described a problem where an ordered mobile phone charging cable was never delivered because of a violation of the law, and the reporting deadline on the platform expired even though the payment had been made. perfect-sally advised contacting the platform using specific terms or opening a dispute through the payment service provider. wencke001 thanked them for the advice.
Hello everyone,
I recently ordered a charging cable for a phone. After that, I got a message saying the shipment was taking longer than expected - so I waited patiently. At some point, I got the notification that the item had been removed because of a violation of the law. Of course, the item never arrived for me, but now the 30-day reporting period has passed... of course I still paid anyway.
Has this ever happened to anyone here? How can I contact ebay personally? I just can’t get past the annoying AI assistant...
Best regards
perfect-sally
Mentor3 weeks agoYou don't need to contact eBay for that; if the deadline has expired, eBay is out of the picture too.
If you still want to try, then check the legal notice or write to the bot several times with employee or callback - at some point it will get it.
And if eBay is out of the picture, you can still try to open a dispute through the payment service provider.

Mentor3 weeks agoHi @wencke001 if you paid with Klarna (120 days from payment) or PayPal (180 days from payment), you can report a non-received item directly there as well.
