Delivered item, no confirmation of receipt
Hello everyone,
I sent the item to a bidder by registered mail.
The bidder has paid, but hasn’t confirmed receipt of the item after more than two weeks.
The money is with eBay, but I’m not getting it.
Every attempt to contact them has come to nothing.
What can I do?
Is there any way to get an eBay employee on the phone?

Mentor1 week agoHello @22angel05 ,
When was the sale?
You had selected DHL parcel for the items you sold.

Mentor1 week agoYou had selected DHL parcel for the sold items, @22angel05 ,
each for 3.95 euros.

OP1 week agoYou’re right. When I created the offers, I didn’t see any other options besides DHL.
I’ve now taken a closer look at an offer and actually found an option to deselect it.
Thanks for the tip.
I’ll revise my offers accordingly.

Mentor1 week agoThere is no function on eBay to confirm receipt; that’s what the tracking number is for.
What does the shipment tracking say?
eBay has a legal notice page where you can find contact options, or you write "employee" to the BOT several times. Eventually it will understand.

OP1 week agoI don't quite understand your answer.
When I buy or bid on an item, I pay for the item and the money stays with eBay until I notify eBay that I've received it.
Only then is the money paid out to the seller.
Or have I misunderstood something?

Mentor1 week agoAs a buyer, you can't confirm receipt of an item, @22angel05 .
@perfect-sally already told you that.
You have to enter/upload a tracking number for the sold item.
If you don't have a tracking number, you'll wait longer for your money.
If the buyer reports an item as not received, without a tracking number you're screwed........
