Payout withheld – manual release possible?
Summary: evgsac98 sold an item and says the buyer is satisfied and left positive feedback, yet the payout of €959.56 will be held until August 24. evgsac98 asks whether eBay can approve an earlier payout. perfect-sally explains that the hold may be due to buyer protection and evgsac98's relatively low status. Despite the positive feedback, the buyer theoretically has 30 days to file a complaint.
Hello everyone,
I sold the item Denon Prime 4 complete set – 1 TB SSD + MAGMA flight case.
Item number: 398169326587
Order number: 05-14947-54144
The buyer has received the item and already left positive feedback. There is no complaint and no return request.
My order proceeds of €959.56 are still being held until August 24.
Can eBay manually release the payout before August 24? Has anyone experienced eBay releasing the payout earlier after successful delivery and positive feedback?
Thank you very much for your replies

OP1 week ago · EditedI can’t believe I have to wait 30 days, even though there are no problems on the buyer’s side

Mentor1 week agoBut it may be because the buyer has exactly 30 days to make a complaint. That's called buyer protection.
And he can also make a complaint after leaving the review.

OP1 week agoI know that already, but there are still cases where eBay manually releases it

Mentor1 week agoIf eBay says withheld, then withheld it is.
If you sell expensive items that are prone to complaints and only have 5 current ratings, that can definitely happen. And on top of that, your status at 85.7% is not exactly impressive either.
