Payout options
The payout options, or should I say the withholding of payments
is a total disaster.
I can't provide an account for payouts.
Ebay keeps the money and support is nowhere to be found.
What kind of catastrophic customer support is that.

no, please first the payout options. If this is a new bank account, it has to be verified first. This takes a little while. Once your bank details have been verified, you usually receive a confirmation. Then you can start the retrieval.

OPAug 17, 2026 at 12:09 PMYes, my account has now been linked, I can see it. What I also see is a red bar that says: “For security reasons … it can take up to 48 hours…” What security? Everything is verified!
Then when I make withdrawals, it takes another 1-3 days. I’m just quoting the messages from eBay. (BTW: In short, from realized sales to getting the money, it takes <= 6 days, or 9 with the weekend. That was already faster 30 years ago with a pen and paper transfer)

I can't see any block or restriction.
Could you please write to me in more detail what is shown to you when you start the on-demand payout? Are you getting an error message?

OPAug 17, 2026 at 10:32 AMI just want to add a bank account for payouts. The account, or rather the entire bank currently on file, has no longer existed for years. The bank was liquidated. But eBay wants me to log in to the nonexistent account to verify this process. Spot the mistake :-)
Even working with support, it's not possible to change my account.

to save a change to your bank details, you need to log in to your eBay account. If you want to change master data, you will be asked once again to verify yourself with your eBay password. You do not need to log in to your old bank; that is not necessary.
Please delete your caches and cookies before you start, so old information does not interfere with the new entry.
Please log in to your customer account
Go to "Hello" Username at the top and click on Account settings there
Then please select "Payment information" under Payments
Usually eBay will ask for confirmation again here and you will need to enter your eBay password a second time
Then click on "Add cards and accounts" and follow the instructions. After that you can remove/delete the old bank details.
If you get an error message during this process, you are welcome to send it to us as a screenshot.
