Cash on collection
I know the procedure for payment upon pickup.
But the buyer wants to pay cash on pickup. Is that also possible, and how do I proceed?

Mentor3 weeks agoHello @seba7777 If you sell items on eBay, we automatically add the payment options that your buyers can use at checkout.
Your buyers can pay securely and reliably by credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna invoice, Klarna instant bank transfer, Klarna installment purchase, direct debit, or PayPal, and complete the entire transaction on eBay. They also have the option to save their payment information for future purchases. If your buyer pays with one of these payment methods, both you and the buyer are covered by the eBay buyer protection.
For real estate, vehicles, and boats, depending on the category, you can also offer cash on pickup as a payment method.
You are not permitted to ask buyers to use a payment method that is not allowed on eBay or that is not listed in your listing.

Mentor3 weeks agoCash payment upon pickup is only allowed for very few items now, such as vehicles, boats, real estate. All other items must be paid for via eBay.
What kind of item is it?
If the "buyer" does not pay via eBay within 4 days, the purchase can be canceled due to non-payment.

It's about a heating system. The buyer has not paid yet, probably because he wants to pay cash on pickup. Communication with him is a bit sluggish.

Mentor3 weeks agoSuch items must not be paid for in cash upon pickup. But to be safe, we’ll ask an eBay employee who chimes in here.
@alena@ebay I assume that such items also may not be paid for in cash upon pickup. Am I right about that? Thanks a lot
