Cash payment upon pickup: The buyer and I had agreed on a price via the eBay portal. Since pickup was agreed, I gave the buyer my address. On site, the buyer tested the guitar and agreed to complete the deal. Unfortunately, it turned out that the buyer had not yet stored any payment method on eBay. By then he had already made a considerable trip, and didn’t want to go back empty-handed. Because of the bulkiness of the package, pickup was the most sensible solution. So we agreed on cash payment. However, it now turns out that the sale process cannot be completed. Neither can he confirm receipt of the guitar, nor can I confirm the handover, since no QR code could be generated. How can I proceed now? The buyer is also being contacted repeatedly about where the guitar is...Many thanks for further advice.

You’ll have to live with the reports for a while now; at some point it’ll stop.
