The shipping method stored with the offer no longer appears when buying labels
Summary: frankydoo777 reports a problem buying shipping labels on eBay. I am a private seller and sell regularly. Buying/downloading the shipping label is a routine process - actually.
I had several sales today, and earlier this morning buying the shipping label (in this case Maxi letter Deutsche Post / 2.90 euros) worked perfectly normally.
But just a few minutes ago, it suddenly really didn’t anymore. I had sent a price suggestion by message, it was accepted right away, but then when buying the shipping label, the (shipping method stored in the listing and paid for) Deutsche Post letter/maxi letter for 2.90 euros doesn’t show up, and instead it shows Deutsche Post "Warensendung" (for 2.70). But I can’t select a letter shipment. Nothing is shown to me. Under "compare all services" no letter shipment appears there either. I also fiddled around above with "weight" and "dimensions", but that doesn’t change anything. On the entire left side of the view, no letter shipment appears there. Although on the (narrow) right side, the shipping method stored in the listing is even shown there as "Selected: Deutsche Post letter" / "Shipping paid: 2.90". Very strange. But I definitely do not want to use Warensendung, because that doesn’t include tracking. I want the shipping method that was also stored in my listing.
Am I even in the right place with my problem here? Or should I post this somewhere else?

for me, the shipping method DP-Maxibrief is still offered on the PC with Google Chrome and can also be selected:
Have you tried it on the PC? Cleared your browser history and cookies or tried another browser?

The shipping method “Deutsche Post letter/large letter” stored in the offer for €2.90 does not necessarily also have to appear on eBay as a purchasable shipping label option. When buying labels, only the shipping services are shown that are currently available for shipping via the eBay shipping platform.
If for this order only the Deutsche Post goods shipment for €2.70 is offered there, you therefore can't force the large letter by changing the dimensions.
In principle, you can also buy a shipping product directly from Deutsche Post. However, you should note that for certain protection cases, соответствующий proof of shipping or delivery may be required.
As it seems, the service for this order is currently not available via eBay label purchase.

Yes, weird that the shipping method stored in the listing is suddenly no longer possible. It’s a standard shipping method after all. And I myself ship about 80% of my items that way.
I’ll now buy the label specified in the listing externally through the post office.

I don't know why it doesn't work via eBay - maybe @anna_s@ebay can take a look at it
otherwise you can of course also frank directly via the Post website, but then you won't have the rudimentary seller protection through eBay

Yeah, sure, if the problem isn’t fixed, I’ll have to buy the label externally through the post office. I have to send it today after all. But in the long run, that’s of course not a satisfactory solution.
If I look around here in the forum, it seems that various problems are currently occurring with shipping. My problem probably isn’t an isolated one, but there seems to be more going wrong since yesterday. But of course I can’t say for sure.
