Complaint, did not receive any money
Summary: peegen-o_0 reported a problem that the money from a sale via eBay had not been received in her account or at PayPal, even though it was marked as paid. A reply from perfect-sally explained that payments are managed through eBay and that payouts are made to a verified bank account. peegen-o_0 expressed frustration with the situation and customer service, saying this would be their last transaction with the companies. nina@ebay clarified that the money was held in the eBay balance and gave instructions for the payout. I recently sold DVDs, the buyer apparently paid via PayPal, and on eBay it is also shown that it was supposedly paid. The money has not arrived either with PayPal or in my account. eBay sent me congratulations, saying I could now go shopping with the money. Where is my money then? I can't see anything, I want it in my account. I complained, but I get no response from either PayPal or eBay. This is completely unprofessional and for me it's the very last time that I work with these companies. What else can I do now?????

·3 weeks ago@peegen-o_0 Hey. 🙂 Your sales proceeds are stored in your eBay balance. You can find this in your user account under Sell > Payments. You can pay the balance out to your bank account or use it for purchases through the platform.

ALL payments go to ebay, no matter how the buyer pays! Ebay says when payment has been made and when you have to ship. The best thing to do is use shipping and delivery confirmation, and later you get the money paid out to your VERIFIED bank account, or you leave the credit with ebay and can use it to buy things.

OP3 weeks agoFinally an answer. First of all, that took a really long time. I had basically already written off my money. I’ve already asked ebay several times, I want it in my account, I’ve already requested it, but nothing is happening.
Of course, it’s completely clear to me that this was the last transaction in my life, and I’ll “recommend” it that way too. We’ll see whether I see any of my money before 2030.

Mentor3 weeks agoFirst of all, hello to you too @peegen-o_0 your post is in the eBay cafe and not in the discussion forums or help forums; the helpers here and the staff rarely look in the cafe because askers should post their questions in the board where they can be read quickly.
