can anyone explain how to get my vat for all orders and especiely last 2 which are more than 3k each sale but both canceled
ebay took around 300 euro vat for each and to cancel i needed to pay from my pocket 500 euro for both orders and i thought ebay will return 600 euro vat after but ebay dont return vat and now for canceled orders i just paid 500 euro and i dont know how to get them back can anyone help?
also i am selling around 3 years on ebay but always bellow earning minimum to pay taxes as hopy first but this year got serious and i get trading licence because i will be over tax minimum but i am not sure so for last few years ebay also took for vat but i was not obligated to pay vat so that money are mine took for nothing and this year i will be i think bellow and vat is already large in comparation with last few years so this vat now for these 2 order how to get it i call to ebay but they simple dont want to help i tell him i need to pay 300 euro to cancel order he dont belive me saying send me screenshot to see i close the phone and i send him screenshot asap and after 3 days still no response just 1 email that ebay took money for vat besides advertising on ebay so who to ask who to contact will lawyer help can make lawsuit for robing me 5 years vat which i dont need to pay it how much will cost me whole process i thing vat tooked is somewhere near 20 000 euro that ebay need to return to me so are those money worh it to make lawsuit? and who to ask i will call ebay today again but i dont have much hope those people there i think i know more then them about ebay how is possible to dont know that i need to pay to cancel and instead of after sending screenshot cancel both orders and return vat to me for those order he just say ebay took for vat wtf mate????

Mentor1 month agoFirst of all: you’re writing about a licence because you now have more income? Does that mean you were previously a small business owner? Who told you that they don’t have to pay any taxes and that VAT isn’t charged on eBay there? You should urgently get advice from a tax advisor.
Regarding your order: please provide the item number(s) and an eBay employee can have a look at it.

OP1 month agoI was selling as man owner before and yes i talk with tax advisor and he told me that like such if i made bellow anoual profit of dont remember exacly but was or 18k or 19k or 20k yearly so if i earn bellow that i dont need to pay vat and that is the law and all these 3 4 years i am bellow that and you ebay rob me took vat all these years and you should employee not greede tax advisors but normal who like to help people and you keep getting greedier and greedier well that road not end well dear ebay rober

Mentor1 month agoThat's not right! That doesn't automatically exempt you from VAT! That's something completely different as far as the tax office is concerned.
Of course, eBay, for example, also charges you VAT on the invoices, and that's justified too.
Have your tax advisor explain that to you properly sometime.

OP1 month agoyeah, thats not right and now you expect to ask you how is right? and you should give me 1 candy so i ask for more and i ask you please tell me more and you tell me call me on this number you will need to pay and i call you and you give me same answer yeah i know that ciclus just you dont worry i will find solution be sure in that

You don’t seem to have any idea what commercial selling even means and what legally required business details have to be listed in the account. You can tell from your incomplete details. Quite a bit is missing, and that puts you at risk of a legal warning!

I don’t know which country the "tax advisor" who advised you comes from. But he should first familiarize himself with German tax law before giving advice.
The small business regulation isn’t about how much you earn, but about how much revenue you generate.
And if Ebay withholds value-added tax for some reason, it is remitted to the responsible tax authority.
