Buyer received the item, but eBay still shows the letter as “in transit” – how can I get my payout released?
Summary: za0shu1za0q1, an eBay seller, shared an issue where an order sent via Deutsche Post was confirmed as received by the buyer, but the eBay tracking information hasn't updated, causing a payout hold. selina_b@ebay responded, informing them that on their end, the item appears delivered and the funds should be available by a certain date. za0shu1za0q1 sought clarification on a specific order, asking for further checking of the tracking status. meinehexe11 tagged eBay support for assistance.
Hi ,
I’m an eBay seller and I sent an order as a Deutsche Post letter with a Matrixcode / Basis-Sendungsverfolgung.
The buyer has confirmed via eBay messages that the item was received. However, the tracking information on eBay has not been updated correctly. It still only shows the first processing step and does not show the item as delivered. Because of this, my payout is currently being held.
Has anyone experienced this situation before? Is there a way for the seller to provide the buyer’s confirmation to eBay or have the payout manually released?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello @za0shu1za0q1 ,
many thanks for your post.
If you look under Selling - Payments - All transactions, it is clear that the amount will be available in eBay balance on 13/08/2026.
In our shipment tracking, it is clear that the item was delivered.
@meinehexe11 Thanks for tagging 🤗
Kind regards
Selina

OP1 month agoHello Selina,
Many thanks for the quick reply.
But my question is about order 08-14979-88471. The status in the shipment tracking is still open, although according to the buyer it has already been delivered.
Could you please check it? Thanks
Best regards
Yang
