I have a question about an order.
The buyer purchased and paid for the item, but before buying they sent me a message through eBay asking if I could ship the item in two weeks because they are currently on vacation. I agreed, and the buyer confirmed that shipping on 30 July 2026 would be fine.
My concern is whether shipping on that date will negatively affect my seller account or be counted as a late shipment, even though the delay is at the buyer’s request and our conversation is documented in eBay Messages.
Could you please let me know the best way to handle this situation so my seller performance is not affected?

Mentor3 weeks agoIf you don’t ship according to your details, there’s a defect in the account!
You should never agree to that, it only causes problems.
You may be able to get the defect deleted if that’s clear in the communication.
