Hello everyone,I have a general question about current eBay practice for products with CE marking, especially toys (EN71).In the eBay help pages on Selling products with conformity marking into the EU / UK, it is explained that sellers must ensure their products meet the applicable conformity requirements, and that the relevant CE documents must be kept available on request.At the same time, during regulatory checks, merchants are apparently required to upload not only the EU Declaration of Conformity but also complete test reports (e.g. EN71 test reports).This raises a practical and legal question for me:Under EU product safety law, test reports are part of the technical documentation and are kept by the manufacturer or the designated economic operator. In practice, merchants do not have access to these documents, as they are not public and are not released by the manufacturer.Question for eBay or other sellers:How are merchants supposed to meet this requirement if the manufacturer provides a valid, signed EU Declaration of Conformity, but does not disclose the underlying test reports?Is there an official eBay position or recommended procedure for merchants on this?Thank you in advance for any helpful feedback.
