Defective goods delivered, promised replacements never arrived
Summary: nadennlos shared their experience of purchasing a 512GB microSD card which turned out to be only 8GB. Despite promises from the seller for a replacement and refund, the replacement never arrived, and further communication ceased. voli-maus suggested checking with the payment provider for recourse. However, nadennlos realized the deadlines for claims had passed. They discussed the situation and acknowledged the experience as a learning opportunity.
I bought a 512GB microSD card a little over 3 months ago, and it arrived within the stated delivery time. After many bad experiences with SD cards, I also tested this microSD with H2TESTW; the result was only 8GB ok. The seller offered a replacement delivery and a full refund if this microSD was also not okay. However, the replacement never arrived, and after another complaint: it’s on the way, please wait a little longer. Finally, 'ask the shipping service provider', and after that nothing more. Another complaint, a long apology - send it again. Of course that one didn’t arrive either, and the seller no longer responds to further complaints, apparently having achieved their goal: sold junk at a high price and kept the buyer hanging until the dispute period on eBay/PayPal expired. Or are there any other ways to take action against the seller (of course from the PRC)?

Mentor3 days agoHi @nadennlos ,
unfortunately, that’s often the tactic of VK from China.
Maybe there’s still something possible through the payment service provider?
How did you pay?

Mentor3 days agoWell, then all deadlines have passed!

OP3 days agoI already feared that too when I missed the deadline. At least: 8GB for €15 isn't exactly a bargain, especially since I need more like 256 GB, but: every experience has its price ...
