The customer is requesting a refund
Summary: vladi30tula is trying to sell a car radio that is suitable for certain Ford models. The buyer has a different model (Ford Focus 2007) and needs an additional adapter cable. After the buyer received the radio and realized it doesn’t fit, he wants to return it. vladi30tula explains that the mistake was not on his side, since all the information in the listing was correct, and asks for help in making it clear to the customer that it was his own mistake. The buyer threatens to involve eBay customer service.

Good day, ladies and gentlemen.
I am offering a car radio for sale that is suitable for the Ford S-Max and the Ford Transit. The car radio was removed from an S-Max together with all cables and plugs.
My listing clearly states which vehicle this car radio is suitable for. In addition, the description states that I am a private seller and that no right of return or warranty is included. Exceptions apply in cases where the item is obviously defective or damaged.
The car radio was fully checked before shipping, and all cables and plugs were carefully photographed and packed.
According to his own statement, the buyer saw all the photos and read the description. However, his vehicle is a 2007 Ford Focus, for which this car radio is partly suitable, but for which an adapter cable must be purchased separately for an additional €6.
The customer received the package, opened it, and tried to connect the car radio to his vehicle – which of course did not work without the required adapter. And now he wants to return it. Simply because he did not read the description and did not look at the photos in the listing, which state which cables and plugs are included.
I do not want to accept a return, because the mistake is clearly not mine.
The customer is threatening to contact eBay customer service.
What should I do in this situation?
I ask customer service to clarify this situation and help resolve this problem. Or to explain to the customer in an understandable way that the fault lies with him.

Mentor3 weeks agoHey @vladi30tula what did the buyer say? Case because item differs?
Then send him a return label so he sends it back to you, otherwise ebay will refund and you'll be chasing after your item
