Deutsche Post letter tracking mostly unavailable (<50% / 4 weeks), paving the way for fraud? | Members help members

Hello,after repeatedly having problems with purchases where shipments are not marked as delivered, I checked my letter mailings (Ebay and others).In more than 50% of my cases over the last 4 weeks, letters are not being scanned correctly by Deutsche Post. Either the incoming scans are already missing, even though I hand the letters in at a branch, or after an incoming scan at the mail sorting center it ends there, or there is an incoming scan at the delivery sorting center but the dispatch from there is not transmitted. Doesn't this encourage every kind of fraud involving supposedly undelivered shipments?Ebay apparently always decides in favor of the buyers in such cases ? Goods and money are gone ! I had already filed an investigation request in June 2025 for 3 cases. In November 2025, DP then confirmed these as "now being processed". 2 of them have now been closed as untraceable. The 3rd is apparently dormant or is being processed endlessly without any result. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Network Agency, but have heard nothing there either. For me, the service has not been provided, so I would at least like to get my postage back. Since I buy the postage labels through Ebay, I requested the same there. No response. Ebay is usually very customer-friendly otherwise. Why do I, as a customer who paid for postage, not get my money back despite the faulty service? According to Ebay statutes, that should be the case, right ? Is the only alternative now to send everything as registered mail or as a parcel ? Or is it only this bad for me. Hoping for the honesty of the whole Ebay community would rather be foolish ? Thanks for the feedback.
