Difference in month-end postings

Question

Hello, I’m an accountant at a medium-sized company and I have the problem that I have monthly shortfalls of around 10 - 20 euros that I can’t explain. The bookings are all complete and correct; when I compare the transaction report with the billing report, everything matches there too. Does anyone have an idea what else could be causing such discrepancies? Could there possibly be "hidden" fees or something similar? Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to come to any conclusion with the help pages so far.... Thanks, everyone!

Hello @sudeindustrietechnik , thank you very much for your post. Do you perhaps have more detailed information about the shortfalls you noticed when closing the month? All fees are normally listed transparently in the relevant eBay account and are available to you as the corresponding report.

Hello @sudeindustrietechnik so I don't believe in hidden fees that are charged / were charged and don't show up anywhere.

But it does happen sometimes that discrepancies appear across months and the amounts were deducted in the following month.

But as an accountant, you should be able to handle that if that's actually the case. I don't know much and use Lexware, and since I've been using it, I haven't come across any shortfalls.
