eBay gives the wrong delivery date, why?
Hello,
E-Bay always gives the wrong delivery date for my sales, why?
Item sold on 2/8/26.
I specified up to 5 days for shipping.
And this is what E-Bay writes 🤔
Delivery:
Delivery between Tue, 25 Aug and Mon, 7 Sep

You already have a fairly long window with 5 business days, and on top of that there’s a calculation that is put together as follows:
"We use a special procedure to estimate the delivery date – this estimate includes factors such as the buyer’s distance from the item location, the shipping service selected, the seller’s items shipped so far, and more."
That’s why these long deadlines come about; it’s the combination of your shipping time + our calculation.

Mentor2 days agoThat actually can't be possible with the delivery times, that there is such a deadline with a 5-day processing time and for all offers at that.

Hi Susi,
I don't see any "absence setting" on your end, so it can basically only be due to the processing time stored for you. Take a closer look there.
