Change the email address of my eBay account
I want to change the email address of my eBay account. However, when I enter my new email address, the error message appears: “This email address is already in use.”
But I only have one single eBay account and therefore don’t understand why this email address is supposed to already be in use.

as far as I know, the Ebay account is always tied to the email address. You can change the account name, but not the email address.

Mentor3 weeks ago??? That's not correct, an email address can always be changed if necessary.
The old email could even be used again for another eBay account, provided the 60-day waiting period has expired.

Mentor3 weeks agoI don't think so. Then, in the case of a possible provider change and if the email address were to change as a result, you'd have to create a new account every time.

as already written elsewhere, I was wrong with my statement, since I myself changed the email address once a few years ago.
