eBay bug? Offer to losing bidders
Summary: privatanprivat reports a problem on eBay where listings that have already ended continue to appear as active in search results. These listings were addressed to losing bidders and should not be publicly visible. privatanprivat suspects a system error and is worried that this could negatively affect their reputation as a seller.
Hello eBay and community,
if you currently search for "fold7 512gb", a large number of my listings are shown as "active" in the search, even though they were ended long ago yesterday (thumbnail below). These were listings to losing bidders that I had already ended yesterday. How can that be?
Aside from the fact that, in my opinion, listings to losing bidders should not be publicly accessible; why are they still showing up as active in the unfiltered search, even though they are no longer valid at all?
To me, this looks like a bug . But first and foremost, it currently casts an extremely bad light on me as a seller, since you can find various prices and listings for the item, all of which should not be public or are all listed even though they were ended long ago.
