eBay is holding my payment for a month.

I sold an item for 1250 euros on July 24, and eBay says that my payment will be held until August 24. Their argument is that it’s a high-value item and they’re waiting for any potential issues from the buyer before releasing my payment.
The thing is, I’ve been using this platform for years, I’ve sold a lot of items, have a 100% rating, and up until now all of my payments have been processed much, much faster.
I’ve contacted them several times, and after the first response they just keep ghosting me.
The buyer confirmed that he received the item and left me a rating for it, but even that isn’t enough for them. Waiting 1 month for a payment is simply unacceptable and extremely frustrating for me. I’ve basically given them a 1-month interest-free loan, and they refuse to do anything.
I’ve already decided never to use this platform again for high-value items, but from a legal point of view, can I do anything to speed up this process?

As for legal options, you need to find out for yourself outside this platform.

If eBay is holding your money back until the buyer protection period has expired, then that's just how it is. There's nothing else you can do but accept it.
