eBay Plus points stay at 0 – has anyone had similar experiences?

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to kindly ask around whether any of you have already had similar experiences with the eBay Plus points.

I’ve been an eBay Plus member again since July 2025. In my current Plus period, I’ve already spent over €2,500 on eBay and also made at least 5 sales. I’ve also bought shipping labels directly through eBay several times.

Nevertheless, my points account has permanently stayed at 0 points – no pending points are shown either.

I used to really enjoy using the Plus points. That was actually one of the reasons for me to use eBay Plus again or keep using it. At the moment, though, I honestly don’t really understand what I’m paying the annual fee for if no points are being credited despite purchases, sales, and shipping labels bought through eBay.

I’m aware that certain categories may be excluded. But when you’ve spent over €2,500, made several sales, and also bought shipping labels, getting no points at all seems a bit odd to me.

Has anyone here ever had a case like this? In the end, was it a technical error, an account issue, or are there certain restrictions that are easy to miss?

I’d be grateful for any experiences or tips before I contact customer service.

Hello everyone,

quick update: thanks to your help, I have now been credited with over 3,000 points. My points balance is now visible correctly again.

Many thanks to everyone who helped here – especially for the support here in the forum. In the end, that helped me a lot more than my previous contacts via normal customer service, where unfortunately my issue was not properly resolved.

Here, the problem was understood right away and apparently brought to the right place.
