Cancel a label created via eBay because of excessive package weight
Hello everyone,
the chatbot can't help here. I had a label created; the shipment has not yet been sent. The package is now heavier, so I need to cancel the label. The system won't allow that because the label is supposedly already in use. I also can't get the service to call me back. Does anyone know what to do?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Stefan

Hello @brick_bay and thanks for reporting this behavior to us via the Community. You don't need to run over to DHL here; you'll receive the refund for the shipping label that you couldn't cancel via eBay from us shortly. We've also reported the behavior to one of our shipping teams and are taking care of fixing it, since cancellation should still be possible even if a drop-off location has been specified.
Thanks also to @petersmodellbahnstuebchen for drawing attention to this issue elsewhere.
Best regards
Miriam

OP1 week agoMany thanks, this is the first time that I have addressed an issue via the community. I’m thrilled with the support and almost de-frustrated 😉
Many thanks to everyone!

Mentor1 week agoHello @brick_bay
The label can no longer be cancelled by us because a drop-off location was booked; this is visible in the shipment tracking.
Please contact DHL directly to receive a refund.
Best regards
