Withheld payment
A buyer opened a case because of a not received item, which eBay decided in his favor and closed. The amount was refunded to him, but is still being withheld as well. When will it be released?

I don't know how old the case is, since you didn't give any details about it.
It's possible that the amount is blocked on your account until the buyer has received their money back. Depending on the payment service provider, this can take different lengths of time.

OP3 weeks agoThat’s already clear to me. The amount was charged to my available balance, refunded to the buyer, and is still being withheld as well. So it’s not available twice over.

Mentor3 weeks agoHow do you come up with the idea that you'll still get the money after the buyer has been ruled in favor of?
If ebay decides in favor of the buyer and has to intervene, then the amount withheld from you will be refunded and, in addition, you get a defect entered into your account.
