Entered text for the item description does not appear in the auction

Question

Hello, dear community,I have been listing auctions of historical postcards on eBay for years. For some time now, the text I enter under "Description" when creating the auction no longer appears in the active auction. I don't understand this. I see the same thing in auctions from other sellers as well: There is no longer any text for the item description anywhere. Has something changed at eBay? I would appreciate a reply / a tip.

Hello @verena@ebay, thanks for the heads-up! I've been using this standard text for years and never thought about the fact that I now routinely process payments via ebay. That wasn't meant maliciously, just thoughtlessness. I'll change the texts from now on. Thanks a thousand times & regards Volker

Hello @perfect-sally, thanks for the heads-up! Yes, and indeed: I use "google chrome" and can't see the descriptions. If I log in with "Microsoft edge", I can see the descriptions. Many thanks & regards Volker

I think you should urgently revise your current item descriptions first, because the passage:

Payment by bank transfer, account details are stored in the checkout process

is not allowed and there are no transfers to the seller! Your listings could be deleted because a sale or payment outside the platform is being offered!
