I’d like to change my email address, and after entering my new address and saving the information, I get the message that the email is already taken. What should I do?

it may be that your new email address was used by another user at some earlier time, since released email accounts can indeed be reassigned after a waiting period
if another user then in turn does not change their email address at eBay, it is of course still linked to an eBay account and cannot be used again

Mentor2 weeks ago@feentanz1a take a look here in the Community and see which email is listed there for you.
Click on your profile, then on add BIO, and there you’ll see your currently valid email address.
Sometimes you get the message that the addy is already taken, but it’s already stored in your ebay account.

Mentor2 weeks agoMaybe clear the cache, delete cookies, and try a different browser.
If the same message then appears, that address already exists and can’t be used again.
