Experiences with Klarna payments on eBay

I recently tried to make a purchase on eBay using Klarna, and ran into a problem. Although I confirmed the payment with my bank and Klarna approved the purchase, I received an error message from eBay saying there was a problem and that I should complete the purchase again. Interestingly, the money had already been debited from my account, but the order does not appear in my eBay account.
Has anyone had similar experiences? What did you do in situations like this? I would be grateful for tips and advice from other members who also pay with Klarna or have dealt with similar payment difficulties.

it depends on what kind of offer it is
in an auction, the item was purchased in a legally binding way, so it should of course already appear under the purchased items - here the payment has to be made again, regardless of whether the failed payment has already been refunded to you
with an immediate purchase with instant payment, the purchase is only completed once that payment goes through - if it fails / is not confirmed, the purchase did not happen and therefore does not appear in the purchase overview either
if there are still immediate purchases without instant payment, the same procedure applies as for auctions

Mentor1 week agoThat unfortunately happens quite often with Klarna, especially when paying by smartphone or when the payment process is closed too quickly.
The money will be automatically credited back to your account in a few days.
