I was finally able to send eBay a message via a messaging function. Then I got a reply from someone named Aadhi. I would have liked to reply to this response from Aadhi by message. So I wrote a message and sent it off...the system’s reply ...Your message cannot currently be processed.Please contact eBay customer service. Well okay, I’d like that too, but where exactly in this portal can you reach competent customer service? And I don’t mean an AI-generated assistant, but rather a real person.
The core issue is a return to a commercial seller who, since the return and numerous messages, simply hasn’t replied.
How can this go from here...I honestly have no idea thanks in advance

just write to Chat.Bot Employee or callback (if necessary several times), then you will also receive a callback from customer service.

Mentor1 month ago · EditedFor a return, a seller has 2-3 days to refund after it has been demonstrably sent back WITH tracking and also demonstrably delivered. If the seller doesn't respond, you can contact eBay.

OP1 month agoSo the item was purchased on 26.05 2026 and, according to the shipping confirmation/DHL, returned and delivered back on 5.06 2026. Attached are the return form, eBay contact details with proof of payment, and I also wrote to them separately with pictures attached. I think I did everything right.

OP1 month agoOh yeah, after marking it as a return, you can't contact eBay about it, and once the return period had passed, suddenly eBay didn't care anymore either... kind of weird somehow

Mentor1 month agoOh dear, you're way too late and have let too much time pass. After so long, ebay won't be able to help anymore because buyer protection has long since expired.
And if you open the return in accordance with ebay rules, there's also no need to contact ebay.
