False notification from eBay

I received a message about a recall of an item that I have never searched for, bought, or traded. Ebay also didn’t show me any transaction, only a string of numbers, which I was able to use to figure out what the item even was. On top of that, the product that I, as I said, never acquired was also mixed up, because the product banned since 1923 is a different one from the one listed under the string of numbers. What kind of action is this from Ebay, and how am I supposed to behave now?

Mentor3 weeks agoIf you’re not affected at all, just ignore it. Better for too many users to get an unnecessary "warning" once in a while than for the people who are really affected not to be reached.
