Bought a bicycle saddle. An eBay employee told me not to worry.
Summary: svenpb13 describes a problem with a bicycle saddle bought on eBay that was delivered to the wrong address. Despite contacting the seller, sending proof photos, and trying to have the case resolved through eBay, svenpb13 feels let down because eBay's AI considers the case closed. Phone support had assured them that the problem would be solved, but that did not happen, and now both the money and the saddle are gone. svenpb13 is looking for advice on how to proceed.
I bought a bicycle saddle on eBay, it was delivered to another apartment, the courier also took a proof photo, I also contacted the seller and explained to him that I don't live there, I also sent him proof photos, contacted eBay, the AI sided with the seller, I lodged an objection by phone, the phone service said wait a bit longer, now I'm trying to contact eBay and the AI says the case is closed, I can't do anything anymore, this is just outrageous, I lodged an objection, the eBay employee said don't worry, we'll sort it out, and absolutely nothing was sorted out, what can I do now, the money is gone and the saddle is gone

Mentor3 weeks agoHello @svenpb13
I took a close look at the case. The appeal has already been rejected and no further processing is possible.
The reason the case was decided this way is that the delivery was carried out correctly according to our guidelines. In other words, the tracking number shows a delivery to your address.
Your seller also tried to come to an agreement with the courier, unfortunately without success.
You can adjust your address so that you make it clear directly on the label that you live behind the house.
Thanks for your tag @meinehexe11
Best regards

Mentor3 weeks agoHey, hey.
Oh dear, that doesn't sound good. Normally, the deal is done once the objection has been rejected. Let's ask @samantha@ebay whether there's still anything that can be done.
