It is about fake parts in the automotive sector that are highly relevant to road safety (replacement motorcycle brake discs for, among others, Harley Davidson vehicles) and the allegedly unlawful use of KBA numbers and the associated ABE approvals on a large scale.(Example: eBay item no.:283311778783 and many others, probably also in other listings + also for other brands) In a poorly copied/printed description text, the seller claims to be a manufacturer of motorcycle brake discs and therefore also believes they are in possession of ABEs for the above-mentioned automotive components. (I haven't found any registered proof of an automotive parts manufacturer named ME24.) However, these are the ABEs of a well-known manufacturer, which are being handed out/included for remanufactured components with questionable manufacturer names, according to the seller's own statements. Something like this can be life-threatening for the vehicle driver(s) under certain circumstances.As far as I know, EU law states:If there is no registered manufacturer name on/to the components =No KBA number (no KBA approval) + = No ABE 1. I can't send the seller any messages about this because they have blocked it. 2. I can't send eBay any messages about it because the AI doesn't understand it and/or blocks it.3. I can't have the message sent to the seller via eBay because there is no way to do so. Maybe someone in this department (not AI) really understands the seriousness of this problem and knows what to do. I know that the seller is a top seller with high turnover for themselves and therefore also a lot of income for eBay.But....at what price?? What is a human life worth here ???? If the above problem is not the case, then the manufacturer "ME24" should provide incontrovertible proof of this. A completely unaltered image of the respective component with the associated ABE clearly visible would be desirable and safe for the buyer. I hope this is of course also in eBay's interests.
