The discussion highlighted the complexities of online transactions and the difficulties buyers face in addressing disputes effectively.
Verifiably wrong item location and fake addresses, yet eBay does nothing at all. What can I do so people with a high level of criminal intent can no longer get to my data through eBay.

Mentor1 month agoHi @karlorfde
I think it’s quite outrageous to accuse a commercial seller with more than 100,000 positive reviews of criminal intent.
It is quite common for a Polish seller to maintain a fulfillment warehouse in Görlitz in order to be able to offer his German customers lower shipping costs.
A look at the legal notice would have been enough to see that the company is registered in Poland and has both a German and a Polish VAT ID on file.
And how do you get the idea that the 400 is the house number? I only see 21-400 as the ZIP code and 24 as the house number for the street.
You should do better research in the future before making such public comments here. That could get expensive.
And I also think that your negative rating will be deleted very quickly if the seller has the time and inclination to look at the ratings received.
Best regards from the Baltic Sea
Peter

OP1 month agoHouse number 400 is on the return label and recipient. autofixxer c/o ZAK. I ordered from auto2fix. If you enter that in Google Maps, you'll automatically be directed to number 41. Just Google Eurohermes and you'll know what's going on.

I don't need to google anything for that. If I get a shipping label from the seller, have questions, and they aren't answered, I use this. If something is wrong then, the seller has a problem, not me.
However, I only buy abroad in the rarest of cases.
karlorfde
OP1 month agoThe seller is advertising right now that they are in Germany. They ship with Cainiao, which doesn't even work from Germany. I was supposed to sign a cancellation agreement for the purchase contract. Before ordering, I saw in the legal notice that the seller is Polish and thought the same as you did: that he has a warehouse in Görlitz. Like I said, google Eurohermes, they also offer premium parcels. A company that is based abroad can claim to be in Germany, and Eurohermes takes care of annoying customers who don't want to be lied to.

You were already asked yesterday by @voli-maus and @selina_b@ebay to provide an order or item number that the issue is specifically about. Just do that, then a competent eBay employee can take care of your problem.
Until that happens, we’re just shooting in the dark here.
Simply naming names is not enough for a review, and can even lead to the entire post violating the community netiquette and being deleted by moderation.
voli-maus
Mentor1 month agoPlease be so kind and name the order number, @karlorfde .
The lovely @selina_b@ebay can see everything with the number.

Seller claims to ship from Germany, that is a lie.
might possibly be deletable, you are not referring to the item, nobody knows whether you received it, whether you want to keep it, whether something else arrived or nothing at all.
Görlitz is on the border with Poland... your seller is from Poland according to the imprint. What exactly happened?
karlorfde
OP1 month agoSeller shipped with Cainiao, I saw that in the tracking and thought the package was coming from China. The package arrived here, but then I ordered from a trustworthy seller instead. The package is still sitting here untouched, the seller’s return slip goes to a fake address. The problem is eBay itself; I have already invested a lot of time to sort out the case and warn others about it. eBay keeps putting one stone after another in my way. I can prove all of this, but the judge won’t. Best regards, Mark

Mentor1 month agoJudge? You filed a lawsuit or criminal complaint within a few days/weeks and a judge is assigned that quickly?
Nope, our courts are unfortunately definitely not that fast.
Whew, @selina_b@ebay 😘 could you please take another closer look?
karlorfde
OP1 month agoThe part about the judge was only meant figuratively; I apologize for the misunderstanding. I'm going to bed now (really!) See you tomorrow

Mentor1 month agoWhat doesn't the judge want, @karlorfde ?

OP1 month agoI just typed a long email to eBay (one-finger method), then clicked copy to me and phone call please and send. Result: Your email cannot be processed at the moment. No email to me either, so 30 minutes wasted and the text gone. Three days ago I had a phone call with a nice employee; he said that was really something and I should call again today, he would take care of it. Called today, employee knows nothing. No record of the case. So I’ve been lied to again
karlorfde
OP1 month agoThe fake address on the return label is not a wrong address, but a non-existent address (house number 400 does not exist on the street; the seller insists on the address) eBay knows that too.
karlorfde
OP1 month agoThe seller openly admits in writing to shipping from Poland, and you can guess what. Right: eBay knows that too.
karlorfde
OP1 month agoA few minutes of googling and you’ll find the company Eurohermes, whose business model is exactly that: pretending to have a German location in order to deceive customers. Go and google it yourselves!

Mentor1 month agoWhat can I do so that people with high criminal energy can no longer get access to my data via eBay.
Stop buying or selling on eBay!
karlorfde
OP1 month agoYes, thanks, the customer service employee said that too. I think with that premise, eBay won’t be around much longer anyway.
