Wrong phone delivered
Hello,
I ordered a Galaxy A55 with 256GB. It took 18 days to arrive.
I’ve been using it, tomorrow is the last day to return it.
Now I noticed yesterday that it only has 128GB!
The seller would refund me the difference. Should I go for that? Can I rely on him paying?
Would it work with an exchange, since the 256GB is almost impossible to get?
Thanks in advance for any answers/experiences!

Mentor3 weeks agoHello @ideenflorist you probably bought from a seller based in Hong Kong with a location in Shenzhen, according to your last review, so delivery can sometimes take longer.
And no, I wouldn't rely on anything there.
You found a defect, the phone doesn't match the description, so you file a case with eBay.
I also wouldn't agree to an exchange if he offers that, who knows when it would then arrive.

Mentor3 weeks agoI’d start a return with the reason that the item is not as described. Then the seller has to pay for return shipping and refund you. However, since you’ve used it for quite a while and the seller can no longer resell it as new, it could be that they can deduct quite a bit from your refund. Within this return, they can also offer you a partial refund, and if you accept that, the case is closed and you get part of your money back.
Exchanges are not предусмотрed by eBay! Either a return or a partial refund.
