Missing contact with customer service - return
Summary: co_707163 reports a problem with a Japanese seller, where running shoes were delivered in the wrong size. The seller offered a partial refund, which co_707163 declined. The seller stopped responding, but co_707163 is still receiving return reminders without any logistical support. perfect-sally suggested opening a return for item not as described, and asked why customer service is not reachable. bootyooty also asked for support from an eBay employee.
Hello everyone,
I have a problem.
I ordered running shoes from a Japanese seller. I ordered them - as always, 1.5 sizes larger. The package arrived and the shoe is way too small because the size doesn’t correspond to the EU standard. I couldn’t even wear the shoes as regular shoes. I contacted the seller, who offered to let me keep the shoes and refund me 50 euros (I paid 124.95 euros). I رفضed that, because I don’t see why I should pay 74.95 euros for this wrong delivery - I can’t do anything with the shoe at all. The seller hasn’t replied to me anymore. Instead, I keep getting reminders to return it within the return period. I can’t reach Ebay customer service. The offer was withdrawn - because it’s not allowed - but what that means for me - no idea. The return - for which I don’t have a reliable address or a label - would cost around 50 euros - I don’t know what to do. How do I get my money back?

Mentor3 weeks agoHello @co_707163 I have now paused the case for 5 days and asked the seller to send you a return label. If they don't get back to you in that time, please give us feedback here.
Thanks for tagging @bootyooty 😘
Best wishes

Mentor3 weeks agoHello
@alena@ebay could you take a look? Since the article was deleted, it’s probably not that easy to open a case from Te?

Mentor3 weeks agoIf you buy from an Asian seller, do you really expect EU standard sizes? What world do you live in?
Unfortunately, these shoes are only available in Asia and you can't buy them from a dealer based in Germany, where returns would also be considerably easier.
And why can't you reach customer service? Have you already checked the legal notice and called the number listed there?
Open a return on the grounds that the item does not match the description! But I think you got exactly what you ordered and there could be more problems.
