Warranty beyond the 6 months
I ordered a new computer mouse. It came from China, and after 6.5 months it broke. The seller refuses to honor the warranty. Is that normal on eBay? eBay is referring me to the seller, saying I have to work it out with them.

Mentor2 weeks ago@lokra naturally, regarding warranty claims, eBay refers you to the seller — what is eBay supposed to do if the seller is based in China?
A seller based in Germany would of course be much easier and better to reach, but for enforcing your consumer rights, it’s solely up to you.

Mentor2 weeks agoSellers don't give warranties, only manufacturers do that.
However, the seller has a statutory warranty obligation, but you have to enforce your consumer rights yourself. That should be impossible in China.
