Warranty is being bypassed by the seller, or access is being made more difficult.
Summary: 77partyiguana has a problem with a defective power station that can no longer be charged after six months of use. The seller, who is also the manufacturer, is demanding extensive documentation such as videos and photos showing that it doesn’t work, which 77partyiguana feels are unnecessary hurdles. They’re looking for advice on whether they have to comply with all these requirements, since the device is still within the warranty period.
Good day.
I have a problem with a commercial provider.
I bought a refurbished power station, and after 6 months it can no longer be charged or deliver power.
Now the seller wants me to specify the exact time of purchase... okay, done.
Now I’m supposed to take a photo of a sticker on the housing and make a video of the "non-functioning".
I am neither technically able nor willing to fulfill further conditions that would further delay the return or exchange.
Should I next spend hours documenting that it is not charging and that no power can be drawn?
I find it grotesque how many obstacles are being put up here to make complaints more complicated and thus avoid them.
Is it really necessary to go along with every bit of nonsense the seller comes up with? Including video documentation?
Thank you very much for your advice. It is item 03-13835-18004. Allpowers power station worth €200.

Mentor2 weeks agoWell, you have to enforce your consumer rights yourself. Ebay isn’t responsible for that.
