Offer a used e-bike
Why am I getting an error message (E-bikes are not allowed to be sold on eBay) when there are hundreds of identical listings? And I specifically selected local pickup only, so it can't be due to hazardous goods shipping.

As you have already learned, the sale of used e-bikes on eBay is not permitted. To report other similar listings from other sellers, please use the Report function in the respective listing.

OP3 months agoToo bad that it's always only those who don't know a solution themselves who speak up, while the hundreds who have obviously found a way and are offering an e-bike on Ebay hold back 😉

If you need confirmation that you’re not allowed to sell used e-bikes here, then @elke@ebay will surely be happy to help you and confirm the answers that have already been posted here dozens of times.

Used e-bikes just aren't allowed to be offered on eBay. And what other providers do doesn't matter for now, as long as they aren't reported, as @perfect-sally already wrote to you. They're probably getting caught by the algorithm when they relist or change their listings.

On eBay, used e-bikes may not be sold, that’s what @perfect-sally wrote to you .
There is no solution for that.

OP3 months agoIt’s not snippy, but justified, to point out that an offered "solution" is simply not a solution 😉 I see it this way: If I don’t know a solution, then I don’t reply either 😉
