Hello community team, I bought a used iPhone on eBay in August 2025. The phone was only a second phone, which mostly just lay around at home. Suddenly, a few months ago (January 26), the touchscreen unfortunately stopped responding. Since then I have contacted them several times via eBay messages and by email - (after all, the phone had only been with me for 6 months) - unfortunately I am no longer getting any response at all. Before the purchase, they always replied to my questions kindly and quickly - and now I am simply being ghosted. After that, I wrote to eBay customer service. They promised me that eBay would ask again on my behalf or ask the seller to solve the problem. Unfortunately, nothing has happened since then. So I wrote to eBay again last on February 12, asking what I should do. But now eBay unfortunately no longer responded either. I am completely desperate, I am deaf and my emails are being ignored. What options do I have to still get my money back? Is it really possible that an eBay seller simply stops replying, I end up with a non-working iPhone lying around here, and I just have to write off the money for it? I would be grateful for any advice and support!
