Purchased item is damaged / condition not as shown in the pictures / contact with eBay seems impossible | Members help members

Hello dear Ebay community,I won a picture at auction (the seller is in the USA). Now it has finally arrived and the frame is badly damaged. The condition differs from the auction photos. There were no damages visible there, and none were stated in the listing text either. And the damage should have been visible in the photos. So I assume that the photos that were taken are older and the condition was still different at that time. I wrote to the seller, but have not received any reply.Of course I also tried to contact Ebay, but I'm not getting anywhere....:(Is there an email address / phone number that one can reliably contact in such a case?I would like to keep the picture, but I don't want to pay the full price for this condition. Unfortunately, I can only find info about sending it back, but I need another solution.Thank you very much if someone has a reliable and concrete answer to my question, and kind regards 🙂
