Commercial context: After buying an item worth 300 euros, a buyer contacts me and asks for it to be sent to a delivery address that differs from the one stored on Ebay. He shares this address by message. He gives a recent move as the reason. He has not yet entered the new address on Ebay. Or also: package comes back because of the wrong address, I have meanwhile received the correct address by message ("Sorry ... moving ... please send again ...") and send it again. I cannot enter the tracking number on Ebay in this case. But I would have it for the shipping insurance at the post office. First question: Since I am oriented toward good service and customer satisfaction, I would say.... "Sure, no problem". But what does that mean in a concrete example for my seller protection? What would it cover? Second question:Assume I cancel. Ask the customer to correct his address.
