Hello everyone,I need some advice from the community, as I currently feel massively let down as an eBay Plus member.The situation: I bought an item for €55 from a commercial seller (imprint available). Before it was shipped, I requested to cancel the purchase. The seller rejected this and still shipped the goods.After receiving it, I exercised my statutory right of withdrawal under § 312g BGB within the deadline. However, the seller actively marked the return as "rejected" in the eBay system and is no longer responding to any messages (ghosting).The problem: eBay support (phone/chat) is brushing me off with the claim that it is "legally fine" if the seller does not accept returns – completely ignoring the fact that this is a commercial seller. PayPal buyer protection was also automatically rejected.My factual negative review was also deleted immediately.My questions for you:How can a commercial eBay seller simply technically block the statutory right of withdrawal or state "no returns," even though it is actually legally required?Why does the eBay Plus promise not apply here? I simply feel let down by eBay.Has anyone had experience with how to reach a specialist department here that knows the legal situation (§ 312g BGB) instead of just reading out standard responses?I have been a loyal eBay Plus customer for years, but behavior like this from a seller (and eBay) leaves me speechless.
