Change business account name
Hello,
we have a business eBay account as a company.
Somewhere in the account settings, our former managing director is stored. He still appears on every invoice that an eBay seller sends us. In addition, he is shown at the top left on eBay directly under the account name.
Where and how can you change or delete this name?

·1 month agoHello @preising , thanks a lot for your post. As already described, you can check and, if necessary, change the data under "Company details ". Providing the VAT identification number is also mandatory here, as this is a commercial eBay account. All details must match exactly.

OP1 month agoHere I can't change the managing director anywhere, or the VAT number anywhere:
We can only see the old managing director at this point (blacked out):
Otherwise he doesn't show up anywhere in the account settings.

an ebay employee will get in touch here and show the way. However, you have to make sure very carefully that the information in ebay matches the BZSt information 100%, otherwise account restrictions may be imposed. And it is also strange that your account is shown here as private without legally required details such as an imprint...etc.

You need to replace the name of the former managing director in the company details with another name.
Details about relevant persons/representatives of your company
If this is also listed in the company name, you can forget about the account, since eBay accounts are tied to the name

that would mean that you don't have a corporation. Which legal form did you choose then? Because I only know of a managing director here with a corporation like a GmbH and similar.

However, you don't just need the managing director's name, but also the HR number and the register court.
